When does the promotion start?

9.00am AEST Monday 3 February and runs until 11.59pm Sunday 11 May 2025.

Is there a cut-off date for a venue to sign up by to participate?

Registrations close on 11.59pm Sunday 27 April 2025.

How do I sign up?

Visit the entry site and enter your venue’s details to sign up. Stock ordered during the incentive period will be monitored. If you choose to participate in the Cocktail Challenges, this will be tracked via brand and venue Instagram handles on social media.

Does the stock need to be ordered in the corresponding Brand’s challenge week eg. Tullamore D.E.W. purchased during the Tullamore D.E.W. challenge?

No! Stock can be ordered at any point during the incentive period to earn points.

How many points can a venue earn?

There is no cap on the amount of points you can earn. Each bottle of stock ordered has corresponding points for each purchase made. If you elect to participate in the Cocktail Challenges, you can earn bonus points for your venue. Stock purchased as part of the incentive can only be used for an on premise venue. Stock purchased for the incentive cannot be used for retail sale or transferred to other venues in your network. The points calculator on the competition site will help you calculate your points at any time.

What if a venue doesn’t stock one or more brand in the incentive?

There is no requirement to range or purchase every brand featured in the incentive. However the more featured brands you stock, the more chance you have to earn points.

If a venue wishes to participate in the fortnightly Cocktail Challenges, do they have to participate in all 5 challenges?

No, the venue can choose which Cocktail Challenge they’d like to participate in. The Cocktail Challenges are opportunities for bonus points.

How long does a venue have for each Cocktail Challenge?

Each fortnight, a new Cocktail Challenge will commence featuring a new brand. The venue must post the new brand cocktail on their Instagram page and tag the relevant brand within the set dates of the fortnightly challenge.

What does a venue need to include in their Instagram post?

To qualify for the Cocktail Challenge, the post to the Instagram post must include:

  • A picture of the drink or menu, featuring the brand bottle used (do not feature people in the shot).
  • The caption must include the recipe, #AD and tag the brand Instagram account eg @sailorjerry
  • Must be posted to your venue’s Instagram account during the relevant fortnightly Cocktail Challenge dates.

When will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced on Tuesday 27 May 2025, on the incentive website. Winning venues will be contacted within 4 days from this date by email.

Do any age limits apply to the prize recipients?

The recipient of the major prize to “Tales of the Cocktail” in New Orleans, must be over the age of 25. For all other prizes, recipients must be over the age of 18.

Are there any specific travel dates for the prizes?

1st prize travel dates to New Orleans are 19/07/2025 – 26/07/2025. 2nd prize travel dates to Thredbo, NSW are to be taken mid-week during August 2025 (prize recipients may select specific dates).

How will a venue be verified?

At the completion of the competition, prior to awarding a prize, a venue must provide a copy of their liquor licence as evidence of venue capacity.

How do I check my points balance?

The website will include an interactive points calculator for you to check your points balance. It will be an indicative tally based on inputting your stock orders and any fortnightly challenges undertaken. There will not be a public leaderboard.

I am a regional venue, what do I do if I win one of the prize experiences but the location is not practical or in my state?

You will still win a prize! The full T&Cs contain details about state-based variations, and offering a monetary prize to the same value if the named prize experience cannot be redeemed.
